Upcycled flower jewelry from aluminum cans

Hi everyone,

I have a few creations finished so I thought I would share photos with you.  I have been busy making unique jewelry from pop cans.  I have lots more to finish before my craft show next week, but here is what I've created so far. You can get some of these items in my etsy shop HERE

  6. Well i wish it was all my idea, but it wasnt. I did consider taking the rose pattern from Penny and cutting the cans, but it wouldnt work for me, so i saw a book online and bought it. It uses paper punches to cut the cans. The hardest part is actually cutting the rim of the can to access the rest to cut it so it is flat.

the book is called Create colorful aluminum jewelry by Helen Harle.

heres a link to where i bought it

It shows how to bend the rose petals, similar to how Penny does in her video, except you arent glueing anything.

I just ordered some ghost punches to do the white and black cans ive been saving. I hope these go well at the craft show next week, cause they are sooo cute.

You can email me for any other info.

  12. My husband is a metal worker and I sometimes help him so I have my own set of tools. In both our sets is a pair of Wiss aluminum shears, they come in three colors. Red and green are curved to make cutting to the left and right easier while the yellow ones cut straight. They are like spring loaded scissors for aluminum and will cut through that can like butter. You can get them at just about any hardware store. I like harbor freight, their off brand ones are cheaper than big name stores and will work just as well for the aluminum cans. We only use Wiss because they hold up better on the thicker sheet metal.

  13. With such a huge variety of hot diamonds jewelry available at the aforementioned store, it is next to impossible that you won't be able to find something suitable for the event that you'd be attending in the near future. sell diamonds phoenix
